Maxine Loves FreshBooks!

When AskMax was in the planning stages we realized that we would need web-based accounting software since we would be working out of different locations. We wanted a centralised accounting package that could be modified by different users from any computer at any time. Ideally we wanted something that also integrated time tracking since this is integral to our business.
A search for online accounting software brought us to QuickBooks. No big surprise that they would have an online version of their popular accounting software. What did surprise us is that there is only an American version - the rest of the world is out of luck.
We continued searching and were really coming up empty-handed. And then we found FreshBooks!
FreshBooks is not a complete accounting package but rather an online invoicing service with lots of extras. It’s easy to use and looks professional. You can create reports for everything from the amount of time spent on any given project to accounts aging. You can also keep track of expenses so with a bit of creativity you may not even need an accounting package.
FreshBooks has worked so well for AskMax that we’ve set up several of our clients with FreshBooks. If you need a hand organizing your books let’s chat and see if FreshBooks can help you spend less time on book keeping.
My favourite thing about FreshBooks is that it recognizes that there are solopreneurs, small businesses, and professionals that work outside the borders of the United States of America.

Hi Maxine,
Are you signed up for the Freshbooks referral program? I was clicking on the Freshbooks banner on your blog post and didn’t see that it had a special referral code on it. If you are setting your clients up for Freshbooks, you can consider their affiliate program
